Who we are
ExplifyAI is an early-stage learning app that turns a topic or your notes into short personal video lessons. It is in testing with a small group of students.
What we collect
- Your name and email from your Google account, to sign you in. We never see your Google password.
- What you type or upload: topics, notes, PDFs and photos.
- Your quiz answers, including “I'm not sure”, and your learning progress.
- How you use the app: pages you open, buttons you press and how you watch videos (play, pause, rewind).
- Basic technical details: browser and device type.
Why
To make lessons that fit what you already know, save your progress, contact you about your account or your feedback, and learn what works so we can improve the app.
AI processing
Your topic text and notes are sent to Google's Gemini AI service to create questions and videos.
Who can see it
Only the ExplifyAI founders. Your name and email are stored separately; your activity is linked to a random ID. We don't sell your data and we don't show ads.
How long we keep it
Your account data stays until you delete your account. Detailed usage records are kept for up to 12 months.
Your choices
You can delete your account at any time in
Settings. This permanently deletes your notes, lessons, videos, quiz answers and progress.
Age
For now ExplifyAI is only for people who are 18 or older.
